The Florence Center has officially announced the return of professional hockey to the Pee Dee region, with a new team set to compete in the Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL) starting in October. This development was revealed at a press conference held last Wednesday.

Parker Moskal, who is the managing ownership partner of the Monroe Moccasins, has taken on the role as the new owner of the team. He expressed enthusiasm about bringing hockey back to the Florence Center, stating, "Hockey is now back to the Florence Center."

Tickets for the upcoming games are now available at the Florence Center box office.
