If your New Year's Eve celebrations include fireworks at home, please remember to celebrate safely and neighborly. It is important to remember that the only legal consumer fireworks are ground displays and sparkling devices; any devices that rise into the air and explode/detonate or fly above the ground are illegal (i.e., bottle rockets, aerials, and single tube devices shot up into the air).
State statute determines when legal consumer fireworks can be sold and used; the use of fireworks is restricted to December 24 - January 3. Additionally, every city and town has its own laws on the use of #fireworks; please make sure you understand what those are. Let's all do our part to ring in the #newyear as safely as possible!
