This week, Cactus Canyon Junior High's STEM program attracted the attention of Fox 10 News. The news team visited the school to learn about the GenTech STEM initiative, where students are mastering programming languages to operate robots.
During their visit, the Fox 10 crew observed firsthand the skills students are developing in coding and robotics, highlighting the program’s innovative approach to hands-on learning.
With a focus on preparing students for future careers in technology, the GenTech program empowers young learners to solve real-world problems through STEM education. AJUSD expressed pride in the work being done by both students and teachers at Cactus Canyon.
