Rep. Eli Crane, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona's 2nd district since 2023, has recently shared his views on social media regarding judicial activism and border security. Crane replaced former Congress member Tom O'Halleran and has been vocal about issues affecting his constituency.
On March 19, 2025, Rep. Crane expressed concern over the role of activist judges in the judiciary. He stated, "Congress needs to do something. It’s that simple. Otherwise these empowered activist judges will only get worse."
Later that day, he highlighted the importance of securing the U.S. border with a reference to a recent legislative vote, saying, "I’ll take a 402-1 vote though. We should be doing everything we can to secure the border. Proud to be Arizona’s voice on @HomelandGOP."
In another post on the same day, Rep. Crane questioned potential conflicts of interest involving judges, stating, "Anyone think that constitutes a conflict of interest? These activist judges know what they’re doing. Congress should respond."
