Rep. Eli Crane, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd district, has recently shared his views on various political matters through a series of tweets. His comments reflect his positions on censure within the House of Representatives, sanctuary cities, and community engagement.

On March 5, 2025, Rep. Crane expressed his opinion regarding Rep. Al Green's conduct on the House floor, stating that "Rep. Al Green should be censured for his childish behavior on the House floor last night." He further commented on the Democratic Party by saying, "Democrats are clearly still coping with the fact that their policies don’t work and the American people don’t trust them anymore." He mentioned that members of the House Freedom Caucus (HFC) are working on drafting a censure resolution.

Later that day, he thanked Rep. James Comer for organizing a hearing addressing sanctuary cities' impacts. In his tweet at 15:15 UTC, he remarked: "Thank you to @RepJamesComer for holding this hearing on the dangerous and destructive impacts of sanctuary cities." He criticized mayors of these cities by saying they have "destroyed lives," and concluded with "We the People have had enough."

In another post made at 16:08 UTC, Rep. Crane shared a positive note about community involvement by mentioning his meeting with Damon Olsen to discuss local initiatives. He tweeted: "Enjoyed sitting down with Damon Olsen to talk about the work of the Prescott YMCA."
