The Pat Gibson Hye-Moore Florence Black History Parade is scheduled for Saturday, February 22, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM. The event has been renamed to honor the late community leader Pat Gibson Hye-Moore. The parade will commence at the Showtime Event Center located at 1210 West Evans Street and conclude at Willie T’s on 210 N. Dargan St in Florence, South Carolina. A brief program will follow the parade at Willie T’s.
Participants are encouraged to decorate their vehicles or floats according to the theme of the event. Participation fees have been set to support the parade, with a standard fee of $25.00 per unit and a flat fee of $50.00 for groups exceeding four units.
