The on-ramp to Loop 202 Eastbound at Gilbert Road will close for approximately 60 days starting at 11:30 p.m. on Friday, April 11. This closure is part of the Arizona Department of Transportation's ongoing project to widen Loop 202, specifically in the Chandler and Gilbert areas.

During this period, drivers are encouraged to use alternative on-ramps at Cooper or Lindsay roads to access eastbound Loop 202. This adjustment aims to alleviate traffic congestion and reduce inconvenience for regular commuters.

While the eastbound ramp will close, the westbound Loop 202 on-ramp at Gilbert Road is on track to reopen by 11 p.m. on Saturday, April 26. The westbound ramp's reconstruction is nearly complete and expected to enter its final stage soon.

This closure and reopening form part of the larger efforts by the Arizona Department of Transportation to improve road infrastructure and enhance traffic flow in the region.
