The Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce has announced that South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson will be the guest speaker at the 2025 Business Outlook Luncheon. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, March 19, at the Florence Center.
Attorney General Wilson has focused on combating human trafficking during his tenure. A report in 2019 ranked South Carolina as the best in the nation for improving its human trafficking laws, and last year's report indicated continued progress in addressing this crime.
During the luncheon, the Chamber will announce the Small Business Person of the Year, sponsored by Dedicated Community Bank, and the Public Servant of the Year, sponsored by Francis Marion University. Additionally, recognition will be given to the Chamber's Ambassador of the Year.
The annual luncheon will take place at the Florence Center with doors opening at 11:30 a.m., and the program starting at noon. Individual registration costs $40 for members and $50 for non-members. Special reserved tables for eight are available for $475.
