The Greater Florence Chamber's 2025 Leadership Florence Class spent a day in Columbia on March 4th for the Florence County Legislative Day. The group toured the State House and listened to Representative Alexander and Speaker of the House, Murrell Smith Jr. They were also recognized on the House floor by the Florence delegation.
The day's activities concluded with a VIP and Delegation Reception at the Columbia Museum of Art, where Lt. Governor Pamela Evette addressed attendees. Following this, participants enjoyed a reception featuring goods and services from Florence County vendors, accompanied by food and drink before returning to Florence.
