The Florence County Disabilities Foundation is preparing for its annual BBQ benefit, a significant event that aids over 1,400 individuals in the region. The fundraiser supports those with intellectual disabilities, autism, and head and spinal cord injuries by funding specialized equipment, vision and dental services, accessible home modifications, and activities such as Miracle League softball and Special Olympics.
BBQ plates will be available for pickup on Tuesday, March 11th from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at two locations: the Continuum in Lake City and Highland Park Methodist Church in Florence. The catering for this year's event is provided by Brown’s BBQ of Kingstree.
This event plays a crucial role in enhancing the lives of many residents across Florence County.
