The Florence Chamber's Leadership Florence class held its February session, known as Education Day, on Tuesday, February 11th. The participants visited Florence-Darlington Technical College and Francis Marion University.
During the session, the class heard from several educational institutions within the community. Presentations were given by TKA, Florence County Adult Education, Trinity Collegiate, Florence One Schools, SCSU 1890 Extension, Palmetto Project, Jr Leadership Florence, Florence Montessori, and the Department of Employment and Workforce.
The event organizers expressed gratitude to Florence-Darlington Technical College and Francis Marion University for providing meals during the day.
