Central Arizona College has partnered with Pipeline AZ to launch the Bridge program, which aims to enhance career exploration and enrollment for students in Pinal County. The program, developed in collaboration with My Future AZ, seeks to facilitate a smoother transition from high school to college. My Future AZ was created by Pipeline AZ in partnership with the Arizona Department of Education, Center for the Future of Arizona, and the Arizona Business and Education Coalition.

Through this initiative, students can incorporate their intentions to attend Central Arizona College into their Education and Career Action Plan goals. This allows them to choose related pathways or programs that connect them directly with college support. The program extends beyond STEM fields to include a variety of high-demand careers.

Katherine Adams, Senior Vice President of Pipeline AZ, stated: “Creating a bridge to the future of work is that of a joint community. Pipeline AZ recognizes that student success is not simply finding a program but also understanding where that program fits within a career pathway; therefore collaboration with partners is key to achieving that success in the long run.”

Nicole Costales, Director of Advising at Central Arizona College, commented on the benefits: “Working with Pipeline AZ, Central Arizona College is able to help our students identify their skills and interests and connect that information to in-demand careers. We are excited to bridge this interest earlier and support our students as they aspire to Central Arizona College.” She added that the ultimate goal is employment within the community aligning with students' passions.

The Bridge program is part of an effort supported by the U.S. Department of Labor's "Forging STEM Career Literacy and Pathways in Rural Arizona," funded entirely by Federal resources totaling nearly $2 million. It aims for equitable access across all career paths in Arizona.

Pipeline AZ provides tailored solutions for five community college districts statewide through branded services like CAC Pipeline at Central Arizona College since 2022.
