Suzanne M. La Rochelle, a licensed clinical social worker, has officially joined the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce. She marked this milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside Chamber Ambassadors.
Rochelle began her private practice journey in Massachusetts after obtaining her clinical license in 1996. Since 2020, she has been offering part-time services to clients in Florence and is now expanding to full-time operations as of 2025.
"Recognizing you may need help is a sign of your inner strength and intelligence," states Rochelle. "Therapy is a proven intervention to improve your mental health. Addressing issues that negatively impact your mental health early is one of the best indicators of successful treatment."
Rochelle emphasizes the importance of early intervention in mental health care, noting that significant changes can alter future behaviors positively. "Doing the hard work now is an investment in yourself and all the people you care about," she says.
