Stephanne Harris, along with her mother and Chamber Ambassadors, recently inaugurated the Taste of West Indies by cutting the ribbon at its opening ceremony.

Harris expressed, "At Taste of West Indies, we’re proud of our heritage. Our family has been in the specialty food business for over 60 years, and we’re committed to continuing that legacy by providing the highest quality products to our customers. All our food is cooked with love."

The Taste of West Indies provides a variety of specialty foods, including freshly made curry and jerk seasonings, homemade patties and coco bread, as well as top-quality meats. The products are chosen for their quality and flavor, often sourced from small, family-owned producers. The establishment emphasizes that food is not just about sustenance but also about bringing people together and creating memories. Therefore, they focus on offering high-quality products and excellent customer service.

Located at 3033 Crescent Circle in Florence, South Carolina, Taste of West Indies offers a glimpse of island flavors to the local community. It operates from Monday to Friday between 12 p.m. and 8 p.m., and on Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
