Moms for Liberty has endorsed Yvonne Tsai in her race for a seat on the Casa Grande Union High School District (CGUSD) Governing Board. Early voting began on October 9 and extends through November 1 for the November 5 general election.

In a September 2024 Casa Grande Dispatch profile, Tsai explained her main policy priorities, including improving educational outcomes, with an emphasis on math, science, and reading proficiencies, which her research found are low and still decreasing among area high school students.

Other priorities for Tsai include addressing alleged drug use on campuses, empowering parents to be involved in and speak up about their children's education, establishing partnerships with local companies in order to give students opportunities to pursue vocational success, and pushing for responsible spending and budgeting.

"I want to be able to join a conservative majority when elected so that students will have success," Tsai said in the profile. "We have excellent students in their honor class but that truly is a small percentage of the students within the 4,000 students. The great majority cannot read at the grade level or do arithmetic. They cannot probably even do multiplication, division and fractions.”

Tsai immigrated to the U.S. from Taiwan in 1979. She has an MBA, and her background is in computer technology and programming. She has two children.

Per the CGUSD Governing Board's website, the Board comprises five members. Terms are four years and staggered so that two or three members are elected every two years.

Moms for Liberty is a parental-rights-in-education advocacy group founded by Tiffany Justice and Tina Descovich, two former school board members. According to their website, "Moms for Liberty is dedicated to fighting for the survival of America by unifying, educating and empowering parents to defend their parental rights at all levels of government."
