There were 3,861 Latino students enrolled in Maricopa Unified School District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 10.9% more than the previous year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Data showed that Maricopa Unified School District welcomed 8,697 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Latino students comprised 44.4% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the district.
