A lot happened in 2022, so we wanted to highlight one of the positive changes the year brought in in the form of a new Arizona law. The legislation makes it possible for victims of certain crimes, like sexual assault, to ask the Court for a lifetime restraining order, which provides additional protection from when their abuser's probation ends.
Called 'Kayleigh's Law,' we partnered with the Pinal County Attorney's Office and Kayleigh Kozak to help ensure you know how this could help you or someone close to you.
