Weekly stories and songs help build early literacy skills for children ages birth to 5.
Recommended for ages 0-5. It's Story Time! meets on Wednesdays at 10:15 a.m. Why bring your child to Story Time!? There are numerous benefits. Talking, singing, reading, and rhyming with children is critical to their literacy development. It increases their vocabulary and improves comprehension. It can increase a child's attention span and helps foster a love of books, reading, & libraries. Storytime covers the six major Early Literacy Skills areas: print awareness, print motivation, letter knowledge, vocabulary, phonological awareness, and narrative skills. Besides, it's fun!
