The city will play host to a second public meeting regarding the proposed Weekes Wash regional multi-use water detention facility.
The Pinal County Flood Control District is studying the Weekes Wash corridor as part of the proposed water detention facility currently under design.
The next public meeting on the project will be Thursday, July 7, at 4 p.m., at the Apache Junction Multi-Generational Center, 1035 N. Idaho Rd.
