Pinal County has appointed Washington native David Frisk as the new director of elections.
Frisk formerly worked as the program manager for the Elections Division in Kitsap County in Washington, according to a release, as reported by the Daily Independent.
He will be the team leader for the elections in Pinal County. He will report to Deputy County Manager Himanshu Patel.
“David’s leadership and extensive election-related experience aligned very well with the county’s needs. I look forward to David’s leadership of and contribution to our Elections Department, which provides critical services for the citizens of Pinal County,” Patel said in a release, according to Daily Independent.
Frisk started his career in banking, which he did for 25 years. He then moved on to administrative manager for the Kitsap County Licensing and Recording Division.
“My family and I have been looking to relocate to Arizona for some time so I am thrilled to have this opportunity to join Pinal County and to serve all of the citizens of Pinal as the elections director. Free, fair and secure elections are essential to the American way of life, and it is my honor to take on this responsibility,” Frisk said in the release.
