With the number of Covid hospitalizations and positive cases in Pinal County rising

Coronavirus update920

Central Arizona College issued the following announcement on Jan. 1.

With the number of Covid hospitalizations and positive cases in Pinal County rising, and while deaths remain low, it is important that we protect the CAC Community.

In an abundance of caution, CAC will operate the week of January 3-6 on a modified approach.  This modified approach is designed to allow for time between holiday gatherings, events, etc. and returning in-person to ensure anyone potentially exposed does not inadvertently expose others.

The College will remain open to provide in-person services to learners; however, employees whose roles and responsibilities allow for remote work and have approved remote work agreements may work remotely Monday – Thursday (January 3-6, 2021) with the approval of the supervisor. Those working remotely are encouraged to limit contact with the general public during this time.

Employees are asked to work with their supervisor regarding departmental modified work arrangements.

It is a CAC value and the college's responsibility to protect our “communities." Employees are respectfully asked to wear a face covering  while on campus when six feet of space cannot be maintained.
