Vista Grande Library issued the following announcement on Aug. 9.
The Vista Grande Library is offering a different STEM based program each Saturday in August.
This week kids will participate in interactive experiments making a Simple Lemon Battery,
Light-up Alligator Circuits and Bristle Bots!
Programs are from 11a.m. to Noon,
space is limited to 20 participants so arrive early!
Crafts will be available for those too young to attend the STEM program.

Resuming our in-person English Language Classes! Walk-ins welcome. Come learn Basic English, reading and conversation with Ms. Yael each Tuesday from 10 am - 12 pm at the Vista Grande Library.
Learn English pronunciation with Mr. Mike
Join Mr. Mike to focus on your English pronunciation every Thursday at the Casa Grande Main Library from 10 am -12 pm. Walk-ins only. Please bring a pencil and paper for notes.
Volunteers Needed for Mayor’s Reading Club
Mayor’s Reading Club volunteers will visit area classrooms, sharing their love of reading with students spending up to one hour each month reading in 2 to 4 classrooms. Volunteers can apply to the program online via the Mayor’s Reading Club tab at casagrandeaz.gov/library or they can pick up an application in person at either library branch. Applicants must also complete a Casa Grande Elementary School District Volunteer Application prior to classroom reading.
