Pinal County residents with property tax bills can now access their property tax information on a mobile device.
The app is available on both Apple and Android platforms. Search "Pinal County Property Tax" to find the app. Users can enter the parcel number or scan the barcodes and QR codes on their current bill to save them to the app. This will enable property tax status to be viewed online and open online payment options. Push notifications can also be enabled to notify users of new tax bills, payment due dates and milestones.
On Aug. 28, the Pinal County Board of Supervisors adopted tax levies and rates for the 2020-2021 fiscal year. The primary property tax rate for Pinal County was approved at $3.75, a decrease from recent year's rate of $3.8699.
The board has met its goal set in 2017 to lower the primary property tax rate to or below $3.75 by fiscal year 2020-2021.
Pinal County's property tax rate is 1.5% lower than it was 10 years ago. The population of the county has grown nearly 21% in the past 10 years.
