Wendy Rogers, a Republican elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 to represent the state’s 7th Senate District, made several statements on her Twitter account regarding local businesses and political figures.

On February 8, 2026, Rogers posted criticism of Senator Mark Kelly, stating: “Correct. This could not slide. @SenMarkKelly thought he was entitled.”

Later that day, she expressed support for a local business and its political stance: “Sammy‘s Mexican restaurant is the best. I’ve eaten there many times. They are true patriots and have supported President Trump since 2015 as I have.”

On February 9, Rogers reiterated her endorsement of the restaurant by posting: “WE LOVE SAMMY’S!”

Rogers succeeded Theresa Hatathlie in representing Arizona’s 7th Senate District after her election in 2023.
