Wendy Rogers, a Republican elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 representing the state’s 7th Senate District, expressed her support for Elijah Norton as the next Arizona State Treasurer in a series of posts on December 5, 2025.

In her first post at 4:18 a.m. UTC, Rogers stated, “It’s my honor to support our next Arizona State Treasurer this evening – Elijah Norton! @NortonforAZ

Later that morning at 4:41 a.m. UTC, Rogers posted another message simply saying, “That works.” She followed up with a third post at 4:48 a.m. UTC stating, “Army Strong!”

Rogers began serving in the Arizona State Senate after winning election in 2023 and succeeded Theresa Hatathlie as the representative for the state’s 7th Senate District.
