Wendy Rogers, a Republican member of the Arizona State Senate representing the 7th District, has recently posted a series of statements on her social media account addressing local energy policy and campaign activities.

On January 22, 2026, Rogers expressed opposition to wind energy projects in her district, writing: “YES #LD7 doesn’t want windmills. LOCAL officials should decide!” She followed this post with another message the same day stating: “Orange is the new black.”

The following day, on January 23, 2026, Rogers highlighted her grassroots campaign efforts by posting: “Love door-knocking to MAGA households in Flagstaff! #LD7”

Rogers was elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 and succeeded Theresa Hatathlie as the representative for District 7. As a state senator, she has taken public positions on local governance over energy projects and remains active in constituent outreach.
