Wendy Rogers, a Republican elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 representing the state’s 7th Senate District, posted several comments on her Twitter account on January 11, 2026, addressing topics ranging from Alberta’s independence to professional protesters.

On January 11, 2026, Rogers tweeted: “‘Independent Alberta’ has a nice initial ring to it.” The post references the idea of Alberta, a Canadian province, pursuing independence.

Later that day, she commented on protest activities with another tweet: “Professional Protesters… it’s definitely a thing.” In a subsequent message posted minutes later, Rogers added: “… or their vehicle!”
