Wendy Rogers, an Arizona State Senator representing the 7th Senate District, posted several updates on her social media account in mid-November 2025. The posts ranged from cryptic remarks to expressions of support for a collegiate football team.

The following day, she shared pride in a personal connection to the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy football team, stating: “We have a close family friend on the @USMMAFootball team. So proud of him and the TEAM! @SecDuffy https://t.co/d6RAofqyXG https://t.co/P3rvXhXb7b” (November 17, 2025).

Rogers was elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 as a Republican, succeeding Theresa Hatathlie as representative for District 7.
