Wendy Rogers, a Republican elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 to represent the state’s 7th Senate District, posted several comments on her social media account on September 17, 2025, addressing issues related to public service and military standards.

In one post dated September 17, 2025, Rogers wrote: “They forget who they serve. They forget why they serve.” In another message later that day at 04:16 UTC, she commented on the timing of an online post in the United Kingdom: “OMG. So it was 0200am in the UK when this was posted! “

A third post from Rogers at 04:25 UTC referenced her experience with military standards during her service: “I don’t recall any men having beards when we were on active duty for 20 years… when waivers were rare and uniform standards were enforced.”

Rogers succeeded Theresa Hatathlie as state senator for Arizona’s 7th district after being elected in 2023.
