Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers Shares Reflections Ahead of Legislative Session

Wendy Rogers, a Republican elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 representing the state’s 7th Senate District, posted several personal reflections on her social media account on January 12, 2026.

In an early morning post, Rogers shared a quotation: “We have met the enemy and she is ours.” (January 12, 2026).

Shortly afterward, she expressed her feelings about leaving her hometown for legislative duties: “Tomorrow I must leave my beautiful Flagstaff for Opening Day at our Arizona Capitol where it’s an honor to serve, but I’ll miss my mountains and ponderosa pines.” (January 12, 2026).

Later that day, Rogers posted another message consisting solely of a link: https://t.co/S1TL9CJn8n (January 12, 2026).

Rogers began serving in the Arizona State Senate after being elected in 2023 to represent District 7. She succeeded Theresa Hatathlie in this role.
