Wendy Rogers, Arizona State Senator for the 7th District, shared personal reflections and memories in a series of posts on August 23, 2025.

In her first post of the day, Rogers commented on her reading habits and referenced former President Donald Trump’s initiatives. She wrote, “Am catching up on some reading today & just read this in the mid-July print edition of the Epoch Times. I mowed A LOT of LAWNS while growing up. Dovetails w/ President Trump re-beautifying our urban areas.” (August 23, 2025).

Later that evening, Rogers reflected on religious music and its place in contemporary worship. She stated, “One of my favorite hymns. I wish more congregations sang traditional hymns of faith. I really miss them.” (August 23, 2025).

In a subsequent post early the next morning, Rogers recounted a memory from her time as a pilot: “On one of my Williams AFB T-37 Tweet cross countries with my IP, we flew low-altitude down the Colorado River to Yuma. Now that I live in Arizona, I remember it from a different perspective.” (August 23, 2025).

Rogers was elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 as a Republican representing the state’s 7th Senate District. She succeeded Theresa Hatathlie in this role.
