Wendy Rogers, an Arizona State Senator representing the 7th Senate District, shared a series of personal and brief posts on her social media account between August 29 and August 30, 2025.
On August 29, Rogers posted a succinct reaction: “GOOD! https://t.co/jVTJkTJxyZ”.
Later that evening, on August 30, she published another short message: ““Pongo Pongo!” https://t.co/27pX15XdsX”.
In a more detailed post the same day, Rogers reflected on her family history: “My parents honeymooned here before my dad was supposed to be in the invasion of Japan, this after commanding a platoon across Europe. My mother figured she’d become a widow, but they married… and survived. https://t.co/lC82YnUHm1”.
Rogers was elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 as a Republican, succeeding Theresa Hatathlie as the representative for the state’s 7th Senate District.
