Wendy Rogers, a Republican elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 to represent the state’s 7th Senate District, posted a series of comments on her X (formerly Twitter) account on October 4 and 5, 2025.
On October 4, Rogers responded to an unspecified topic with a brief affirmation: “Yup https://t.co/YwvMSXDMbN https://t.co/X9D1xReOnL”. Later that day, she added another post stating, ‘”We’re going to turn and burn, governor.” https://t.co/HMMLiSyDqM’.
In a subsequent message posted on October 5, Rogers commented on international affairs and reflected on personal advice from her family: “The Taliban must’ve been made an offer they couldn’t refuse. My sweet dad used to tell us, after we were retired from the military and opened our 23-year long business, ‘Everything is negotiable.’ https://t.co/pEspDLC4p1”.
Rogers has served as state senator since replacing Theresa Hatathlie in Arizona’s 7th Senate District following her election in 2023.
