Wendy Rogers, Arizona State Senator for the 7th District and a Republican elected in 2023, shared several personal reflections on her X (formerly Twitter) account on September 12, 2025. Her posts addressed themes of remembrance, loss, and community support.
In her first post of the day, Rogers wrote: “Air Force (ret) Colonel @RobManess is a personal friend. We’re both aviators. I honor those who died on 9/11 through his narrative. God bless America.” The message was posted at 04:48 UTC and referenced Rob Maness, a retired Air Force Colonel and fellow aviator.
Shortly after, at 05:04 UTC, Rogers published another brief statement: “Amen.”
Later that day at 15:37 UTC, Rogers addressed the recent loss of Charlie Kirk with a more detailed post: “Losing Charlie Kirk deeply affected our family & me. Two nights ago, I was a panelist for the businesswomen of the Florence AZ Chamber of Commerce. We publicly prayed for Charlie & his family. Out of honor & respect, I waited till now to post. This is our rallying cry.”
Rogers succeeded Theresa Hatathlie as state senator for Arizona’s 7th Senate District following her election in 2023.
