Wendy Rogers, a Republican member of the Arizona State Senate representing the 7th District since 2023, posted a series of tweets on January 7, 2026, reflecting on her Air Force career and commenting on state political processes.

In her first post at 2:48 a.m. UTC, Rogers shared a personal reflection about her military background: “Global Reach. Global Power. This was my Air Force pilot life.”

A few minutes later, at 2:51 a.m. UTC, she posted another message referencing an unspecified individual: “Hothead just can’t get out of his own way, can he?”

At 3:21 a.m. UTC, Rogers commented on legislative procedures in Arizona by drawing an analogy to bypassing the governor’s authority: “This reminds me of sending something directly to the ballot (voters) and bypassing ‘Governor’ Hobbs!”

Rogers began serving in the Arizona State Senate in 2023 after replacing Theresa Hatathlie as senator for District 7.
