Wendy Rogers, a Republican elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 to represent the state’s 7th Senate District, posted a series of messages on her social media account on September 30, 2025. The tweets addressed topics ranging from support for acquaintances with ties to the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) to commentary on messaging and public figures.

In her first post at 4:50 a.m. UTC, Rogers expressed encouragement regarding recent developments related to the USMMA: “This is heartening to family friends of ours whose son is a plebe at @USMMA1 https://t.co/R3IXCe4qAs”.

Shortly after, at 4:52 a.m. UTC, she commented on communication strategies by stating: “Commanding the messaging. Finally. https://t.co/tTE5wP9G4v”.

At 5:02 a.m. UTC, Rogers made another post that appeared to reference an individual named Hakeem: “Pobrecito, Hakeemy baby. https://t.co/Qyv6OA09Q9”.

Rogers began serving as state senator after replacing Theresa Hatathlie in Arizona’s 7th Senate District following her election in 2023.
