Wendy Rogers, a Republican state senator representing Arizona’s 7th Senate District since 2023, posted a series of statements on social media early on August 26, 2025. The tweets covered her views on fellow politicians, recent events in her district, and a call for federal intervention in Tucson.

In the first post at 05:59 UTC, Rogers expressed support for another politician by stating, “We Arizona senators LIKE @LeeZeldin.”

Shortly after, at 06:01 UTC, she commented on an event affecting her local area: //This is my district// BIBLICAL. My family lived through this tonight.”

At 06:04 UTC, Rogers addressed former President Donald Trump directly with a request regarding law enforcement in Tucson: “President Trump, please dispatch your rapid reaction guardsmen to Tucson… the neediest city in Arizona for the Rule of Law to be reestablished.”

Rogers was elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 after succeeding Theresa Hatathlie as the representative for the state’s 7th Senate District.
