Wendy Rogers, Arizona State Senator representing the 7th Senate District, posted a series of tweets on December 13, 2025, expressing patriotic sentiments and gratitude towards Flagstaff’s Lowell Observatory.

On December 13, 2025 at 21:17 UTC, Rogers tweeted: ” https://t.co/UNGIf7bOuD”.

Later that evening at 22:00 UTC, she posted another message stating: “Army Strong! https://t.co/XdkJV4IFGp”.

At 22:19 UTC on the same day, Rogers expressed appreciation for a local scientific institution: “Thank you Flagstaff’s @LowellObs for a wonderful behind-the-scenes tour. Your astronomical research work is matchless. We learn so much every time we visit! https://t.co/N0lr0hOD8m”.

Rogers was elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 as a Republican and represents the state’s 7th Senate District, succeeding Theresa Hatathlie.
