Wendy Rogers, a Republican member of the Arizona State Senate representing the 7th District, posted a series of brief statements on her social media account on December 8, 2025.

In her first post at 00:58 UTC, Rogers wrote, “Deny communications. Go DARK.” Less than two minutes later, she followed up with another message: “Yup. Inevitable. Can’t evade anymore.” At 01:01 UTC, Rogers added a third post stating simply, “Oh boy.”

Rogers was elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 to represent the state’s 7th Senate District, succeeding Theresa Hatathlie.
