Wendy Rogers, an Arizona State Senator representing the 7th Senate District since 2023, posted a series of critical tweets on January 13, 2026, addressing various public figures and issues.
In one post from January 13, Rogers commented on Walz with the statement: “Walz even LOOKS like the wizard.”
Shortly after, in another tweet on the same day, she addressed Mark Kelly’s situation: “This 30-day period in which Mark Kelly can rebut also provides ‘Capt’ Kelly to dig his hole deeper. He has. Instead of being demoted, he now may be much more harshly punished. Now court marshal him. He can’t see through his own arrogance and self righteousness.”
A third tweet posted minutes later continued her critical tone: “Cringeworthy. Colleagues I know can’t stand to be in the same room. IT’S SO BAD.”
Rogers is a Republican who assumed office in the Arizona State Senate in 2023 after succeeding Theresa Hatathlie as representative for the state’s 7th Senate District.
