Wendy Rogers, an Arizona State Senator elected in 2023 to represent the state’s 7th Senate District, posted a series of statements on her social media account on September 13, 2025. The posts referenced political unity, religious empowerment, and a vigil for conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
In her first post at 03:48 UTC, Rogers stated, “Trump knows ‘unity’ is capitulation.”
Shortly after, at 03:57 UTC, she wrote: “Do not trifle with this woman. She is empowered by the Holy Spirit. She was born to carry this legacy. God is in control.”
Later that night at 04:52 UTC, Rogers announced an event taking place in Idaho’s capital city: “Tonight on the steps of Idaho’s Capitol in Boise… a praise & worship vigil for Charlie Kirk.”
Rogers has been active in Arizona politics since replacing former state senator Theresa Hatathlie in 2023 as a Republican representative for the state’s 7th Senate District.
