Wendy Rogers, a Republican state senator representing Arizona’s 7th Senate District since 2023, used her Twitter account on February 19, 2026, to highlight legislative efforts related to fuel theft and other issues affecting small business owners in her district.

In a post at 17:42 UTC, Rogers referenced legislation she has introduced by stating, “Just like my SB 1421.” In a follow-up tweet less than a minute later at 17:42:54 UTC, she added, “At least!”

Later that day at 18:34:28 UTC, Rogers addressed the issue of fuel theft impacting local businesses. She wrote, “Fuel theft from my constituents’ gas stations is a COSTLY PROBLEM!

SB 1540 legislates against this awful threat to my small business owners.”

Rogers has focused on policies addressing concerns faced by small business owners in her district. Elected in 2023 to the Arizona State Senate after succeeding Theresa Hatathlie, Rogers has prioritized measures aimed at curbing crimes such as fuel theft that directly affect her constituents’ livelihoods.
