Wendy Rogers, Arizona State Senator representing the 7th Senate District, shared updates on her recent activities and community engagements in a series of tweets posted on January 5, 2026.
In her first post, Rogers commented on student meal programs, stating, “Free breakfast may not hack it.” (January 5, 2026).
Later that day, she highlighted a meeting with Rich Chanuck from Northland Pioneer College (NPC) in Show Low, Arizona. Rogers wrote, “Great to meet with @NPCedu’s Rich Chanuck in Show Low AZ today to learn about what its 11 campuses are offering students for 2- and 4-year degrees that will provide real jobs in northern Arizona!” (January 5, 2026).
Rogers also revisited a local business and recounted her history with one of its owners. She tweeted, “So great to be back at the Trumped Store in Show Low AZ to see my good friend Courtney Lewis, who began supporting me in 2019 when she housed me for 4 weeks of door-knocking in Snowflake-Taylor!” (January 5, 2026).
Rogers was elected as a Republican to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 and represents the state’s 7th Senate District after succeeding Theresa Hatathlie.
