Wendy Rogers, a Republican elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 representing the state’s 7th Senate District, posted a series of remarks on her X (formerly Twitter) account on October 9, 2025. The tweets addressed various topics and included direct criticism of military leadership.

In her first post at 07:30 UTC, Rogers wrote, “Yes, let’s COALesce.”

Shortly after, at 07:35 UTC, she made a pointed statement regarding military officials: “Mealy-mouthed, spineless attempt to straddle the middle. Please RELIEVE these wimpy generals, @SecWar!”

Later that day at 16:10 UTC, Rogers posted a brief reaction: “Jeez!”

Rogers succeeded Theresa Hatathlie as senator for Arizona’s 7th district following her election in 2023. She is known for her active presence on social media and has previously made headlines for outspoken commentary.
