Wendy Rogers, a Republican elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 representing the state’s 7th Senate District, posted several statements on her X (formerly Twitter) account on September 4, 2025. The tweets expressed strong opinions regarding issues related to military discipline and public discourse.

In a post made at 14:50 UTC, Rogers stated, “This needs to be repeated OVER and OVER AGAIN.”

Minutes later, at 14:50 UTC, she followed up with another message directed at an unspecified individual or official: “Say it, sir. Revoke them!”

At 15:10 UTC on the same day, Rogers commented on what she described as poor journalistic standards and addressed military employment policies. She wrote, “Typical dumb reporter question:

Ahem. One works at the pleasure of one’s employer… especially the military. If you refuse to follow orders, you’re fired, as in court-martialed.

Where do we get these stupid people?”

Rogers succeeded Theresa Hatathlie when she assumed office in the Arizona State Senate’s 7th District in 2023.
