Wendy Rogers, a Republican serving as the Arizona State Senator for the 7th District since 2023, posted several statements on her social media account on December 10, 2025. The posts addressed topics ranging from criticisms of a coach to legislative actions involving Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs.

On December 10, 2025, Rogers wrote, “Corrupt coach… not a viable role model.” Later that day, she responded to other public figures with another post stating, “Good. I agree with you @RepLuna @realannapaulina”. In a third post made on the same day, Rogers criticized Governor Hobbs’ recent legislative decisions: “Hobbs vetoed TWELVE (12) of my bills a few months ago. UNPRECEDENTED OBSTRUCTIONISM.”

Wendy Rogers was elected to represent Arizona’s 7th Senate District in 2023 after succeeding Theresa Hatathlie. Her recent comments follow ongoing debates in Arizona over gubernatorial vetoes and legislative priorities.
