Wendy Rogers, an Arizona State Senator representing the 7th District and a Republican elected in 2023, posted a series of statements on February 10, 2026, criticizing banks for their handling of accounts and remittances involving unauthorized aliens.

In her first post at 19:13 UTC, Rogers wrote: //Holding Banks Accountable//

Banks make money off UNAUTHORIZED ALIENS, but don’t want to be called out for it OR be accountable in facilitating remittances.

Banks want it both ways.

A few minutes later at 19:21 UTC, she reiterated her position with similar language: //Holding Banks Accountable//

Banks make money off UNAUTHORIZED ALIENS, but don’t want to be called out for it OR be accountable for facilitating remittances.

Banks want it both ways.

In a subsequent tweet at 19:26 UTC the same day, Rogers commented on criticism she receives from political opponents: Since Democrats can no longer credibly justify UNAUTHORIZED ALIENS in our country, they viciously attack me, the messenger of Truth and Free Speech. https://t.co/q8YIb2oy1Y

Rogers assumed office in Arizona’s Senate after winning election in 2023 and succeeded Theresa Hatathlie as representative for the state’s 7th Senate District.
