Wendy Rogers, an Arizona State Senator representing the 7th Senate District, posted a series of tweets on December 2, 2025, addressing issues related to Venezuela, her constituents’ reactions, and state politics.

In one post, Rogers emphasized her view on international affairs by stating: “The overriding impetus on Venezuela is the Disclosure of International Election Fraud. (The objectives of quelling drugs and keeping China & Russia out of our hemisphere could be considered secondary, depending on how you look at it.)” (December 2, 2025).

Shortly after, she referenced local sentiment in another tweet: “Arizona applauds.” (December 2, 2025).

In a third message from the same day, Rogers highlighted strong reactions from her constituency regarding an individual identified as “Captain” Benedict Kelly: “My constituents are blowing up my phone MADDER THAN ARIZONA SCORPIONS over ‘Captain’ Benedict Kelly.” (December 2, 2025).

Wendy Rogers was elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 as a Republican representing District 7. She succeeded Theresa Hatathlie in this role.
