Wendy Rogers, Arizona State Senator for the 7th District, shared a series of posts on August 29, 2025, commenting on various topics ranging from public figures to policing and meteorological history.
In her first post at 06:10 UTC, Rogers wrote, “Her look is of pure arrogance.”
Later that day at 18:40 UTC, she posted another message stating, “Tinted Windows Policing.”
That evening at 21:11 UTC, Rogers referenced historical meteorology with the following statement: “A British meteorologist, Clement Wragge (1852–1922), appears to have begun the trend of naming cyclones after people, particularly politicians he did not like. This allowed him to say they were causing great harm or were wandering aimlessly.” @flywithaopa
Rogers was elected as a Republican to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 and represents the state’s 7th Senate District. She succeeded Theresa Hatathlie in this role.
