Later that evening at 23:26 UTC, Rogers addressed issues related to immigration enforcement and her voting record by stating: “Physically plucking off illegals scaling rooftops wasn’t on my ballot, but I DID vote for this.”

Rogers was elected as a Republican to the Arizona State Senate in 2023 and succeeded Theresa Hatathlie as representative of the state’s 7th Senate District.
